JAM YESTERDAY

A play by one of Britain's most distinguished playwrights, Peter Nichols. Ernie is a musician who has all his long life been devoted to keeping the airwaves swinging.

With the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII, he is much in demand for his memories of the band he led during the war, one whose music was targeted at a very unusual audience.

The play itself is fiction, but is based on a band which really existed under these extraordinary circumstances.
