MIRABELLE AND ME
A play by award-winning writer Mike Stott about a man who falls in love with a veal calf. Edwin is roped (literally) into delivering a calf by a local farmer, Connie.
After the shocking and unexpected death of his wife, Edwin finds solace in the attachment he's formed to the calf (Mirabelle), and spurred on by a decision that no-one else he cares for (man, woman or beast) is going to die, he impulsively decides to save Mirabelle from the slaughter-house, by bringing the calf to live at his suburban home.
